Where did Childlike Faith Apparel come from?
Hi there! My name is Melany and I am the creator and owner of Childlike Faith Apparel. This idea of creating Christian apparel first started as apparel just for children. However, the Lord expanded my thinking! The idea of creating Christian merchandise has been something on my heart for a long time. It all began after I became a mommy and had my first son, Atziel. He showed me instantly what a deep unconditional love could be and even more vividly as he grew. The way he trusted me, humbly loved and accepted me even in my difficult mommy days, to even swiftly forgiving me for even the smallest mistakes as a parent. All of this led to where I am now as a Christian and parent (of now two beautiful boys).
I knew there were many Christian apparel brands and allowed myself to be intimidated by that, hindering myself to step out in faith and begin a business. However, that changed on September of the year 2022. God used a Pastor and Prophet of His to give me a word which included instructions from the Lord. In that word He confirmed He would align things for me but I had to produce them. I knew then and there that my dream was a part of that. And so I began to put my dream on paper and developed what is now, Childlike Faith Apparel.
Mission & Core Values
Childlike Faith Apparel's mission is to empower Jesus Christ believers and followers to evangelize and spread childlike faith. The goal is to create apparel that catches the eye of those around us, conversation starter pieces where we can testify of our Lord and Savior. We want to help believers of Jesus share their faith in Him, to evangelize and give hope through their stories and their testimonies where childlike faith was needed.
Our core values are faith in Jesus, family as our first ministry, passion for God, transparency and authenticity in all things in our walk in life with Christ and thoughtfulness in all things we create.
In Matthew 18:3 Jesus mentions that we should "become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving]". In order to come to Christ and give ourselves to Him, believing He was raised from the dead on the third day and that He is our Lord & Savior, there is an act of childlike faith that needs to take place. Our mission is to help believers evangelize and spread this childlike faith using our apparel as an open door for these conversations!
